Welcome to my website and thanks for learning more about my campaign for re-election.
Four years ago I was elected to advocate for better schools, build strong partnerships with local districts and serve the most in need in our community.
Today, I believe I have earned the community's trust by expanding critical student programs, increasing accountability and transparency of the Superintendent and the Board, modeling and demanding effective leadership, nurturing Board teamwork and strengthening relationships with critical community partners.
I remain committed, with my fellow Board members, to achieve the district's long range goals: to be the central, active leader for education issues; model excellence in student learning; provide indispensable services to schools, parents and other community organizations; and develop the best and brightest educators and staff in a culture of excellence
